Mr. Randall has over thirty years of real estate investment experience, the last twenty five of which have been with Grubb & Ellis Company in Southern California. Prior to accepting a position with Grubb & Ellis Company, Mr. Randall was the sales manager and head of acquisitions for Investment Brokers, Inc., a multiple office real estate agency. As a Grubb & Ellis professional, he has represented some of the West Coast’s largest property owners in the acquisition and disposition of their major investment properties, such as: AEW Capital Management, Archon Group, AMB Property Corporation, Bank of America, Bedford Property Investors, Citibank, Estate of James Campbell, CalSTRS, CalPERS, Donald Bren, Mitsui Real Estate, Samsung, The Irvine Company, Triple Net Properties, Heitman Properties, Principal Global Investors, RREEF, Transamerica Realty, UBS Realty Investors, and Washington Water & Power Co.

Mr. Randall holds the CCIM designation, Senior Vice President title, and is an advisor and co-chairman of the company’s Institutional Investment Group. He is also a member of the company’s President’s Council and has been a member of the Circle of Excellence (top 100 brokers nationally) for 22 of the last 23 years.

PAUL M. MEADE, MAI

Mr. Meade has over 20 years of experience in commercial real estate. He began his career as an appraiser with Diversified Realty Appraisal, a Newport Beach appraisal firm. Mr. Meade has been with Grubb & Ellis for over 15 years, the last ten of which working strictly as a financial analyst and due diligence consultant with the investment team headed by Michael Randall.

In addition to his previous appraisal career, Mr. Meade has also provided consulting services such as: feasibility studies, market analyses, lease arbitration, discounted cash flow analyses, investment analyses and property tax consulting. Examples of assignments include the world-renowned 2 Rodeo retail center in Beverly Hills, TRW’s Space Park aerospace facility with over 3,000,000 square feet of mixed use product in Manhattan Beach and a 3,000 acre portion of the O’Neil Ranch in south Orange County. A sample of clients includes AMB Institutional Advisors, The Irvine Company, Prudential Insurance Co., Massachusetts Mutual Life Insurance Co., Penn Mutual Life Insurance Co., AT&T Investment Management Corp. and Heitman Advisory Corp.

KAYLA CALKINS

Ms. Calkins has over 15 years marketing and research experience, six of those in the real estate industry. Prior to joining Grubb & Ellis, Kayla was a field auditor for Real Estate Economics based in Irvine, California. Before that she worked for Cushman Real Estate in Newport Beach providing market research and marketing support for their national real estate investment team. In the mid-1990s, Ms. Calkins was the marketing manager at the L&B Group, a real estate asset management firm based in Dallas, Texas.

In addition to her extensive background in real estate, Ms. Calkins has also worked in the mergers and acquisitions industry with the Geneva Companies as a market briefings analyst and in the high technology industry as a marketing and sales representative.

ANTHONY TRAN
Research Manager

Anthony Tran provides extensive market information, custom reporting, and the mapping and analysis to support the Randall Group and clients. Mr. Tran is responsible for preparing the Quarterly Office Market Trends Report, compiling extensive data collection, the accuracy, verification, tracking and analysis of property listings, both internal and external.

Mr. Tran has been employed in the commercial real estate market since 1997. Anthony holds a B.S. Degree in Management Information Systems. He earned a B.S. in the School of Business at the University of California, Long Beach, CA, in June 1995.
